30 Years Young

I don't think I’m old, I just know I’m not young.

There’s an old saying, “Keep the body in motion, and the mind in action,” which is the perfect way to keep growing up, rather than growing old.

Growing up is about changing inside and outside. You will start to have interests in new things, want to try new activities, maybe experiment with the way you dress and look. On the outside, you will start to change too.

Learning about being comfortable with who you are. This is often very hard! Many young people feel sensitive about the changes happening to them at this time. This is normal. You learn about life together, sympathize each other’s mistakes and celebrate each other’s successes.

The challenge in life isn’t to avoid all bad choices but to embrace the good ones. To increase the chances of good choices and enhance your life as you age.

It’s important to understand that reaching your goal is not necessary.
What’s more important is the process of getting there.

Life is interesting when we know how to approach life with the hope of self-improvement or self-realization, with an ongoing desire to learn new things and have new experiences.

Other qualities that can help you lead a self-directed and fulfilling life as you age are:

1.Practice! Practice! Practice!
Nothing comes easy, practice and practice more until you can do something without conscious effort.

2.Move out of your comfort zone
Comfort is a powerful sedative. It is only while enduring discomfort that we find solutions.

3.Take Chances
A lifetime isn’t forever, so take the first chance, don’t wait for the second one! Because sometimes, there aren’t second chances!

4.Visualize success
Picturing yourself succeeding in your minds before they actually do in reality. It is extremely effective when harnessed and used correctly.

5. Don’t think, feel
The best thing really is to follow your intuitive feelings because there is more wisdom contained in them than you are aware of.

6.Connect Emotionally
A strong emotional connection changes people because you can feel that those things are not meant to affect you. Feelings are stronger than opinions!

7. Make your own decisions
The first step in making the right decision is recognizing the problem or opportunity and deciding to address it. Once the decision is taken, stand by it.

8. Don’t live in the past
Living in the past robs the opportunity of the present. But the good news is that you do have control over much of your life.

9. Find Your Passion
When you know what you’re doing, nothing will stop you. But before you can become unstoppable, you need to know what you’re starting.

10.Have the desire to succeed
Everybody has to find their own stroke. The reality is that we get one shot at life. A great mindset is an essential ingredient to a successful life.

11. Keep doing it
Remember Nike’s slogan: Just do it. To really succeed you need to practice efficiently, and you need to practice often.

12. Enjoy what you do
Do what you enjoy and enjoy what you do. What’s important is the journey, not the destination.

13. Be persistent
There will be countless times you will be faced with defeat. The road to success is not easy, in fact, it’s challenging. Push until it is accomplished.

14. Be bold
To be bold implies a willingness to get things done despite risks. Bold people aren’t afraid of trying new things, they very often come out of comfort zone.

15. Don’t chase perfectionism
Letting go of perfection is really important because perfection comes with many negative consequences that will stop you from moving forward.

16. Prove it to yourself
Your competition is just with you. Sadly most of us try to prove ourselves to others. I think we should instead prove to ourselves, only to ourselves.

17. Believe in the power of life
Faith in life is important. In order to succeed one has to keep alive the flame of desire, ambition, and faith in oneself, but so also actions.

18. Have fun
Life is too short to be serious. Even though you’re growing up, you should never stop having fun.

19. Do it now
Make a checklist of the tasks that you need to complete, and specify a time for doing them. This will help you to proactively tackle your work.

20. Never Settle
Never allow self-defeating words to convince you to settle for anything less than your positive purpose in life.

21. Go against the tide
As they say, if there’s no pain, there’s no glory. Accept problems as part of the imperfections that make life more meaningful and worth living for.

22. Learn how to respond
Reactions are instant but responses are tricky. Before we respond to a situation just think does it add value to ourselves and others.

23. Break the rules
Before you break the rules, you must learn the rules. Then step outside the boundaries. Because that’s where most of the good stuff happens.

24. Be the last to speak
When you wait to hear what your team is going to say, you’re giving a chance to others who can feel comfortable sharing their opinions with each other.

25. Take accountability
When you’re truly responsible, you believe that success or failure is up to you.

26. Be Grounded
When you’re grounded, you’re in charge of yourself, and not easily influenced by other factors or individuals.

27. Accept Failure
Accepting failure is a great gesture but you will definitely learn something that will prepare you for success.

28. Keep Learning
Boost up your intelligence. Challenge yourselves to learn a new skill or piece of knowledge can improve self-esteem and confidence.

29. Share what you know
Share it to others for your own sake. Even if you don’t have an audience, start blogging, podcasting or creating videos to share the knowledge you’re learning.

30. Don’t give up
Whatever your meaning of success, you will only achieve it through persistence. There is only one definition of failure — giving up.
